Rob Gilbert

Rob Gilbert (sometimes credited as Robby Gilbert; born 1966) is an American cartoonist, animation instructor,[1] and illustrator best known for children's books and illustrations.

Gilbert was born in New York City and began drawing at an early age. He studied at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art and attended the School of Visual Arts (SVA), as well as the Art Students' League.

Gilbert is well known for his monthly comic strip, "The Adventures of Ranger Rick" for the National Wildlife Federation's "Ranger Rick Magazine," which he illustrated between 1999 and 2009. He has illustrated several books for children including:
